Nothing New Under the Sun

Well, my dear readers, the computer guy will be charging $35 an hour to see if he can fix the hard drive. At this point, I hope that my documents are retrievable. I have approximately an entire novel plus other stuff I didn't back up to a floppy disk. As I might have mentioned, the last time I backed up my personal files was in 2001. *sigh*

No linky-links today. The news is dull.

No blogging over the weekend, since the computer is on vacation. I think we're going to go see "King Arthur" this Saturday. The MIL deigned to watch the kid for us, so I'm looking forward to the movie.

On Sunday, the in-laws are having a family get-together. I kind of dread it, but at least I know that we'll have to be home by 8pm so we can watch "The 4400" on the USA network.

Busy at work, thankfully. The day is flying by. I started writing this entry at 9:22, and now it's 11:52. Guess I will post it now.

Okay, I was wrong. This is sad to read about. Having a daughter myself, I cannot imagine. The little girl in the pic is a cutie. (It's sad that the kids are sold, but good that the traffickers were caught and punished.)
